We’ve recently acquired the Kellerman Software code base, which represents two decades of development. Historically, we relied on Azure and TFS (Team Foundation Server). However, we’re now dedicated to migrating this valuable code base to GitHub.

So, let’s start with step one: How do you add an existing project to GitHub?

This code will recursively delete files and folders older than a certain date.

We love having code like this in our code library, it's useful on so many engagements.

Needed to import an Excel spreadsheet today. There are a ton of ways (some difficult, some licensed) but since I have a Telerik license, I tried their components and it worked out just fine. The entire process is below.

This short article will show you how to create a 'Route' in ASP.NET

In short, a Route will allow us to define a URL like http://mysite.com/customer/123 and have that redirect to http://mysite.com/customeredit.aspx and pass in the customer number. It's a little prettier than the normal method.

Okay -

Does anybody know what SQL Table could be causing this SQL Error when we click on the Receivable Transactions Navigation List?

It's the middle of business day and month end so I can't easily create a dex log or perform a SQL trace.

I checked all the obvious RM tables - RM00101 - RM20101 and RM30101 and have no records with a NULL Customer Number.

Has anybody seen this before and have some advice for me to troubleshoot it? GP seems to be doing some query and trying to populate a tempTable with the data from the query(?)

I love the Knowledge base for the system tables, I am wondering if there are plans to do the same for the E-Connects and what is available now for E-Connect documentation

I would like to quantify the impact of a potential change to the price matrix to historical billings. In other words, I would like to take my total population of service calls from 2023, sum the total billing amount, and then understand what that billing amount would have been if there was a change to the price matrix. This will allow me to quantify the potential impact of a change to our price matrix.

Does anyone have advice on how to best accomplish this goal?

Trying again, I think this text was dropped from the original message.

The 989 error is being thrown in Smarconnect.  We changed our shipping methods because UPS changed our account number.  What other tables store the SHIPMTHD that need to be updated to reflect the change?    The SY03000 has the correct info now.  And the edits were all done using GP, not touching data directly.

It may be that SHIPMTHD data stored elsewhere is being used as parameters to procedures, that now have no matching record in SY03000.

It's GP 18.4, there was no option for it.

Thanks,

Hi !

I have a question regarding the taRMTransaction SQL Stored Procedure, it's working fine but how do I enter the GL distribution for the sale transaction I wish to add? Not all amount of our sale for this invoice is going to the same GL, I need to be able to enter different GL for the transaction. Is it possible?

Thank you!
