I want to get email working in GP so we can implement AP EFT, and send remittances via email to the vendors when we make a payment.
I have researched everything out there, and cannot get gp to connect to our our smtp server that is in office365.
I have a hunch it has to do with TLS 1.0 vs TLS1.2 I had a similar issue with SQL mail, which finally started working when I forced the default TLS to 1.2 on the SQL Server machine.
We are on GP 18.5. I have set Exchange online to allow SMTP connections, but every time I try to connect, it just comes back saying an error occured and nothing else.
Has anyone gotten this configuration to work?
